Report for DatingViking.com review

The home page of DatingViking.com looks quite promising. The background image shows a beautiful woman. The title of the site suggests that it is a place for adults to have fun chats, and to find dates. Also, it advertises free registration. Sadly, although it makes a nice first impression, our review of DatingViking.com found it to be a fake chat scam, and a subscription rip-off. The operator of this website is Force Vision Ltd, which is a company from Ashford, in the United Kingdom.

Our report on this site is based on the evidence we found when looking through the Terms and Conditions, as well as by making an account of our own, to test the platform. We discovered that DatingViking.com uses fictional profiles and fake chat operators. This is outlined in the Terms and Conditions, though most users would not find this information easily. Because members of the site will likely believe that their interactions with the “automated profiles” are genuine, we consider this a scam.

Our review also found a possible subscription trap. Using this website is not free, as most people would suspect. In fact, members must purchase an expensive premium subscription, if they want to unlock the chatting feature. This means that users may unknowingly spend large amounts of money to chat with fake profiles. We consider this to be a rip-off.

Details on the DatingViking.com review

This seems to be a great dating site, where adults can find hot chats and meetups with attractive singles, in their area. However, our review of DatingViking.com deemed it to be a fake chat scam. The Terms and Conditions page of this website reveals that the operator uses fictional profiles. These are operated by computer-programmed chatbots, or company staff. The operator is Force Vision Ltd, which is based in Ashford, in the United Kingdom.

Because users are not adequately informed that most members they interact with are fake chat operators, or chatbots. So, we view this as a scam. Additionally, this website is a rip-off because users must pay to upgrade to a premium subscription, if they want to send messages. This site is a rip-off, as users need to buy a subscription to chat. This could easily turn into a subscription trap. Overall, in our opinion, it is very unlikely that you will encounter any genuine people on this site. It is even less likely that you will find a real date here.

Full of fake profiles

The first thing we did when conducting our review was read through the entire Terms and Conditions page. We saw that the website operator admits to using fake accounts, and fake chat operators. In the Terms, they refer to fictional profiles as “automated online accounts.” These profiles appear to be genuine users and are quite realistic. However, nothing about them is sincere, and they cannot be contacted outside of the site.

The Terms and Conditions also state that these profiles can be identified by a “Online Hottie” tag, which will appear on the profile pages of fake accounts. In our experience, every single account that contacted us, or was available to view, has this tag. This means that none of the profiles we viewed were real. Also, finding this tag is quite difficult. Even though we were on the look-out for it, it was easy to miss. Users with no knowledge about the fictional profiles would have no idea to look for this indicator.

From the Terms and Conditions

Please, note that while using Our Services You may sometimes interact with automated online accounts and/or fictitious profiles, which its interactions have been generated by or with the assistance of automated programs or scripts, or by real persons that have been contracted or employed by Us (hereinafter, referred to as “Bots”, “Automated Profiles” or “Fictitious profiles”).

In compliance with the Bolstering Online Transparency Act (when applicable) or any other equivalent regulation, We added tags with the nickname “Online Hottie” to all the existent Automated Profiles, so they are easily identifiable for You.

The conclusion from our DatingViking.com review

Though DatingViking.com seemed promising at first. However, our experience, while investigating the site, found that it is a fake chat scam and a subscription rip-off. Users are required to pay an expensive monthly fee to unlock the chat function. Also, most, if not all, profiles here are fake. Though the site admits to using fake chat operators in the Terms, this is not sufficient information for informing users. Consequently, we consider this site to be a scam.
