But after we do some research and read the site’s terms and conditions, we would not recommend anyone to sign up here. It seems to be a cheeky subscription rip-off.

At first sight, the online dating platform Datings-Lover.com looks like an excellent choice. The landing page is well-designed, the interface is modern and user-friendly, and the overall appearance is inviting and trustworthy. Moreover, the registration is free, and the site promises to have a huge network of trusted members. All in all, it appears to be a great place to find a date in no time at all.

We search the internet for user reviews and thoroughly study the site’s terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we quickly find out that the site is not trustworthy at all. In fact, it seems to be a cheeky rip-off.

In the terms and conditions, we read about “staff profiles” and so-called “icebreaker” messages. Due to our experience with online dating websites, we know that these terms are used to mention a fake chat scam in a sugarcoated way. “Staff profiles” are created and managed by the website’s employees. They are nothing but fake profiles and are usually used to lure new users into becoming paying subscribers as quickly as possible. “Icebreakers” are fake messages, which are probably created by the “staff profiles” and sent by chatbots.

Their sole purpose is to trick users into believing that the site is full of flirty members and endless dating opportunities. But in fact, the actual member base is probably rather small, and the chances of finding someone for a date are extremely low.
