Report for DateMure.com review

DateMure.com claims to be the ultimate place to meet serious singles. Apparently, this is not the right choice for those who are interested in casual experiences. But after some research, we found out that this is not a good option for anybody at all. DateMure.com is in fact just a scam with a fake chat. The member’s area contains fictional profiles created by professional animators. They work for a company we have already encountered many times. We refer to Neosolut Web Services Ltd, who are based in Larnaca, in Cyprus.

The previous reviews that we have written about them have shown that the fake chat is not the only problem. A paid membership is required to communicate with other members. But this is another rip-off because it keeps extending, and it is impossible to cancel.

Details on the DateMure.com review

The landing page of DateMure.com does not provide any details about the services and the relative costs. They advertise the registration as free. This might lead somebody to think that everything is free on this portal, but this is a mistake. The basic membership only allows users to create their profile and browse the member’s area. To use the live chat, or any other communication tool, a paid subscription is needed.

This ambiguity is clearly deliberate. Even if it is not a scam in itself, it is an obvious hint that DateMure.com is not to be trusted. The lack of transparency on the homepage of a dating platform is never a good sign. The bad reputation of the operator is the second clue that this is not a safe place.

An unreputable company

Neosolut Web Services Ltd is notorious for using fictional profiles on all their dating websites. This operator from Larnaca, in Cyprus, has already received countless negative reviews from former users. They all complain about a fake chat service which prevents people from arranging actual dates. We took a closer look at the Terms and Conditions. Since we have a lot of experience with them, it did not take us long to find proof of the scam.

DateMure.com admits to using staff profiles to communicate with their members. These accounts are controlled by fake chat operators who do not correspond to the person portrayed in the picture. To make things even worse, there is no way to distinguish these profiles from genuine ones or admitting that there are any. Since nobody can be trusted, it is impossible to have a real date on DateMure.com.

The following note is from the Terms and Conditions

We do not guarantee that all the profiles found in search belong to other users, as we reserve the right to create profiles which are maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”).

Here is the real scam

The ultimate goal of a fake chat is to convince new members that the platform is an effective place to meet somebody. By doing so, visitors will be tempted to spend money on this website. All the subscriptions renew automatically until they get canceled by the user. Not only is cancellation made very difficult by this operator, but also, in some cases, it is just impossible.

The trial packages that run for 1 and 3 days require 72-hours notice to be terminated. At the same moment the payment is authorized, there is not enough time to opt out.

The conclusion from our DateMure.com review

There are so many reasons to stay away from DateMure.com that we do not know where to start to sum them up. The bad reputation of the operator speaks for itself. All the accusations made by former users have been confirmed by our findings. This platform creates fake profiles to lure new members into buying a paid membership, which renews automatically. This is a subscription rip-off, because there is not enough time to meet the deadline for the cancellation.
