    Report for DateACowboy.com review

At first sight, DateACowboy.com seems to be a solid choice for singles. But we did some research on the internet and found some reports which speak against this site. Former customers claim that the site is a cheeky scam. Some former users note that it is a fake chat, others claim that it is a subscription trap.

In general, the information that we found on the internet, speaks against the site. Also, the operator of the portal does not appear very trustworthy. ODS Online Dating Systems Ltd. is the operator of this site. They run a huge network of dating sites and all of them have a poor reputation with the suspicion of a rip-off.

    Details of the DateACowboy.com review

The online dating website DateACowboy.com advertises with a good offer. In a nutshell, all visitors can register for free plus they have plenty of choice for matches. The members´ pool of the site seems to be filled with interesting people who are looking for love. The facts on the internet sound a bit different. We found reviews by former customers about a fake chat. According to that information, the profiles in the members´ pool are fake. Plus, they seem to be managed by fake operators. They start a chat with new members but if a new user wants to reply, costs will occur. That is how a fake chat works but in this case proof for that is missing. We checked the terms and conditions and did not find a note about moderation. So, the operator does not note fictional profiles or fake operators.

The operator runs a whole network

We also did not find a note about entertainment. From time to time, cheeky providers cover their scams with synonyms like the purpose of entertainment. However, that is missing here as well. But we did find a note about an automatic renewal of the membership. Costs will occur for a premium-membership which means the operator advertises with misleading information. The automatic renewal does not appear like good service on such a site. Many other good dating portals use an automatic extension of the subscription as well. However, this operator does not appear to be trustworthy. The ODS Online Dating Systems Ltd. runs this site and many other dating sites which all have a bad reputation. Moreover, the company is based in Paphos, Cyprus. Cyprus is a common location for scam operators.

The Conclusion from our DateACowboy.com review

The online dating platform DateACowboy.com seems to be a rip-off. We found some reports about a fake chat which we could not prove. The website is charging money for a premium-membership. The subscription for that paid membership will extend automatically. That does not have to be bad in general but in this case, we assume that the website is not safe to use.
