The starting page of Couple-Seeking.com promises us the opportunity to find a third person, as a couple. Or you can find a couple, as a single, and meet for dates. In the background of the starting page, there is only a picture of three people’s legs. The starting page does not give us much more information. We are asked to register, to get to know all the members.

In the contact details of the website, we find the name Fintuler Inc, from Florida, in the USA. This is the operating company. Since the starting page does not give us any other worthwhile information, we scrutinized the Terms and Conditions, to find any indication of a possible rip-off or scam.

After a brief look at the Terms and Conditions, we find that so-called “Staff Profiles” are operated by employees. Of course, these are not real profiles, and real-life contact with them is not possible. According to their statement, these profiles are created to test the website’s functions and services. However, since it does not seem to be clear which profiles are affected, we must assume that we are dealing with fake chats, in most cases.

The starting page of Couple-Seeking.com gives us only very sporadic information about the website. It is supposed to be possible for us to find a couple, or singles, for dating together. Otherwise, we only get brief information about the registration process. No more detailed information about the website and its functions, or sample registered profiles, are visible. The operator of this site is indicated in the contact form, as Fintuler Inc, from Florida, in the USA.

So, we read the Terms and Conditions of the website, and came across the term “Staff Profiles”. These are supposedly used to test the functions of the website. However, as these profiles are not clearly labelled, we can never be sure of the authenticity of the other users. In our experience, this is a clear sign of a rip-off and a scam. We do not guarantee that all the profiles found in Search will belong to our users, as we reserve the right to create profiles which are maintained and managed by our employees (“Staff Profiles”).

VIP membership required

After creating our account, we will be redirected to the membership page. Through a search function, we can view suitable profiles. After a short time, we receive the first messages from other interested users. Even though we have not provided any further information about ourselves. However, we are denied the opportunity to chat with these users. A VIP membership is required first. Without this membership, which is also quite expensive, we are denied many functions of the website.

We have 3 different options for memberships, which are split into monthly, 3 monthly, or annual payments. Despite a discount because of our registration, the price for one month is still $35.96. The price for the annual subscription is $206.96, or $17.24 a month.

Fake chats immediately after registration

Unfortunately, these costs are unreasonably high, especially when you consider that we can never verify whether we are writing to a Staff Profile or a real user. We received our first messages shortly after registering, even without showing further personal information. So, we can be sure, based on our experience, that a rip-off site with fake chats is being operated here.

Unfortunately, our review of the Couple-Seeking.com website is negative. The fact that it is not possible for us to distinguish real profiles from staff profiles, makes it difficult to find real dates here. The high membership fees also leave a negative impression. The fact that we instantly receive messages from users, does not speak for the credibility of the site. Anyone looking for real dates should not invest their time, and especially, their money here, because of fake chats and a rip-off.
