The same landing page across multiple dating sites is the first sign of a scam. When we see this we know they all operate from the same database. You will start to see the same profile pictures and information from site to site.
Along with that, you will also see just above the Signup button, something called “Online Cupids”. When there is a term like this we know something is fishy. This is a well-known term that fraudulent dating sites use. Should you click on this button you will be directed to their terms and conditions. Here is where they admit to using fantasy profiles on their site for amusement purposes. You would think this should be illegal, but since it is all laid out in the terms and conditions they can get away with it.
From terms and conditions,
“FOR AMUSEMENT PURPOSES ONLY
THIS SITE USES FANTASY PROFILES CALLED ONLINE CUPIDS®: You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious and operated by the Site or its contractors. Messages sent from our Online Cupids® service may be automatically generated with no human involvement, and Online Cupids® messages and/or correspondence may be generated by third-parties hired or contracted by Us. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that no physical meeting will ever take place between you and the individuals providing our Online Cupids® service, and that the exchange of messages between you and the Online Cupids® profile is for entertainment purposes...”
Legitimate sites have no need for this and do not do this. The presence of “Online Cupids” is a major warning sign of fraud.
The operator of CheatingHousewife.com is located in Nicosia, Cyprus. Being located overseas is another sign of fraud since they can escape the law if anyone in the US would try to sue them.
Also, be careful of all the messages you start to receive once you have registered. These messages are straight from the “Online Cupids” who are employees of the company or automated bots. These are fake messages from fake profiles. So don’t be fooled. You will be asked to upgrade your membership if you want to respond to any of them. Once you do this they will try to lure you into long and endless chats in order to get more money from you.
Everything here is just a facade.
