ChattySpace.com is an online dating website that resembles every other dating website we’ve seen before. Supposedly, this website has been up since 2019 and was developed by Menestios LTD, which is a company from Gibraltar. We have written reviews about this operator before, and none of our reviews paint them in the best light. Regardless of previous experience, our reviews are always based on first-hand experience of any new website. Therefore, we signed up and analyzed the Terms and Conditions.

The landing page looks crisp and modern. It has an image displaying a group of women standing in cold weather while smiling and sharing a nice moment. Other than that, we didn’t really find any relevant information about the site, which is not a good sign. Usually, reliable websites offer enough details so that visitors to the site feel that they belong. It will then encourage them to register. However, on ChattySpace.com, everything seems to be random.

Our evaluation of the site suggests that the operator may create fictitious accounts to populate the members’ area. Therefore, even though it looks like a dating website, it may well be a scam based on a fake chat service. The profiles that supposedly belong to women all seem to be Eastern European women, even though nothing about that is mentioned on the site. In addition, we found some alarming text regarding user privacy.

ChattySpace.com is a nicely designed dating website. However, its appearance is the only noteworthy aspect of it. It appears to be a mix between a dating service and a social media platform. However, a few factors point to a possible a scam. First, it is managed by an operator called Menestios LTD, from Gibraltar, a British territory in Southern Europe. They aren’t very well-known, but we soon found out that most people who have tried their websites end up angry and disappointed.

Possible fake chat service

ChattySpace.com admits to filling up the members’ area with self-created, fictitious accounts. The company refers to them as “Staff profiles.” In theory, the user will be made aware of the site’s fictitious nature if they chat with one of the staff profiles. However, based on our experience in reviewing dating sites, we know that newbies probably won’t realize the profiles are not real. Other than that, it is unclear whether there are any real profiles in the members’ area.

To a trained eye, the “Staff profiles” come across as too perfect. Their bios also seemed to portray a fantasy rather than real women. Furthermore, replies from these women are immediate if users try to chat with them. The problem is that these women don’t mention working for the company. In our opinion, this is strongly misleading for an inexperienced user. Furthermore, the lack of genuine profiles, suggests a possible rip-off.

Pricey chats

There is nothing wrong with having a fantasy chat per se, but we have a couple of issues with this one. Firstly, to have a fantasy chat, users should be well-informed that those they chat with are not real. Especially if payment is involved. As for ChattySpace.com, it is necessary to pay to participate in the chat. If users have no chance of getting a real date, they should be unequivocally informed. Instead, the operator of this site creates false hope for its users.

A package of virtual coins needs to be purchased to send messages through the fake chat service. It costs 2 coins per minute to chat. Since a package of 20 coins costs three dollars, this amount of money only gives users ten minutes of merely virtual entertainment.

ChattySpace.com is an elegant dating portal by Menestios LTD, from Gibraltar. The website looks like a social media platform, but our research suggests it may be a rip-off. The members’ area is full of perfect women. The operator admits to creating fictitious “Staff profiles”, and we could not find any genuine user accounts. Regardless, interacting with anyone on this website is rather expensive. Although the Terms of Use include warnings, very few people bother reading such lengthy legal documents.
