Report for 50sLove.com review
At first sight, the online dating platform 50sLove.com seems trustworthy and legit. The website offers a user-friendly interface and appears to be a great place to find 50+ singles, who are looking for new dating adventures. But after we have a closer look at the terms and conditions, we cannot recommend anyone to register here. The site turns out to be a rip-off with a fake chat.
The registration is free, but to be able to use the chat feature without limitations, a paid premium membership is needed. Also, we find out that the member’s area is filled with fictional profiles. Thus, users are supposed to spend a lot of money on completely pointless chat conversations, which can never result in a date. Furthermore, the membership subscriptions extend automatically and can easily lead to a subscription trap. The operator of the site is Alpha Internet Services GmbH, from Innsbruck, Austria.

Details on the 50sLove.com review
At first sight, the online dating website 50sLove.com looks like an excellent choice. The website is well-designed, and the interface is very modern and user-friendly. Furthermore, the registration is free and can be done in no time at all. All in all, the portal appears to be the perfect platform to find local 50+ singles, who are interested in meeting up for a date.
Full of fake profiles
As always, we do some research on the internet and read the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we quickly find out, that the website is not trustworthy at all. In fact, it is a cheeky rip-off with a fake chat.
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 03/05/2021)
The user acknowledges that 50SLOVE uses professional animators and operators to encourage members to communicate and to offer their members the best possible entertainment. These profiles created and operated by 50SLOVE are specially marked with a heart in the system and there is no way to meet these people in real life. The user can only send messages within the 50SLOVE portal to these special profiles. When registering, the user expressly agrees to receive emails as part of this communication.
Operators create fictional profiles
According to the terms and conditions, professional operators create fictional profiles to interact with the users. This is supposedly done to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. But in our experience, the only purpose of these fake profiles is to lure new users into signing up for a paid membership subscription as quickly as possible. Immediately after the free registration, users receive several messages, which appear to be sent by real members.
But to be able to answer to these messages, users must become paying premium members first. Obviously, these messages are in fact sent by the mentioned employed operators. But unfortunately, users are not sufficiently informed about the fake chat and therefore assume a real person behind each message. Hoping to meet a matching partner for a date, they are eager to reply as quickly as possible. But the chances of ever finding a real date on this platform are most likely to be zero.
Possible subscription trap
All paid membership-subscriptions extend automatically if they are not terminated in time. But as the termination deadlines are rather short, they can easily be missed and consequently lead into a long subscription trap. The operator behind this scam is Alpha Internet Services GmbH, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria.
The conclusion from our 50sLove.com review
Unfortunately, 50sLove.com turns out to be a rip-off with a fake chat. To send messages in the chat, users must become paying subscribers first. But the member’s area is packed with fake profiles, which are created by hired animators. Thus, the chances of finding a date on this portal are extremely low. Moreover, the membership subscriptions renew automatically and might therefore lead into a subscription trap.
